US Indie Star JJ Garrett to Make AEW Debut on DARK

On the same episode of AEW DARK that will see JD Drake make his long-anticipated debut with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), another US indie star will also be making his official AEW debut, as JJ Garrett is set to face off against Nightmare Family‘s QT Marshall in singles action this coming Tuesday night.

The Iowa native started his pro wrestling career in 2012 with his home state 3XWrestling (3XW), before breaking out the following year for promotions like IWA Mid-South, Beyond Wrestling, and AAW Pro. Over the next few years, he became a staple on the Midwest indie circuit, adding the likes of DREAMWAVE, Freelance Wrestling, Pro Wrestling ZERO1 USA, Glory Pro, and Zelo Pro Wrestling to his travels. In the spring of 2019, he made his debut with Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), and has continued to work with GCW to this day, including two matches during GCW’s Fight Forever 24-hour event this past January, where he faced Eli Everfly in singles action in the GCW block, The Wrld on GCW III, and competed in a Scramble match during Jimmy Lloyd‘s block. One of the more underrated competitors in the US indies, Garrett will get a huge chance to showcase his skills to a larger audience on Tuesday when he makes his AEW DARK debut.
