Seiki Yoshioka defeated Daisuke Harada at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Destination 2021 Back To Budokan event to capture the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship. This marked the first title change of the historic event as Pro Wrestling NOAH made their epic return to Nippon Budokan. After capturing the championship, Yoshioka was challenged by Daisuke Harada’s tag team partner, Atsushi Kotoge; he is also the former faction mate of Seiki Yoshioka.
Seiki Yoshioka came to NOAH one year ago, after the shut down of his former employer Wrestle-1. He debuted as a member of the Sugiura Army before leaving to form Full Throttle along with Atsushi Kotoge and Hajime Ohara. Yoshioka unsuccessfully challenged for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship last year, losing to Kotaro Suzuki. He also failed to capture the Junior Tag Team Championship on a few occasions.

This is Seiki’s first-ever championship in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Furthermore, it marks Full Throttle’s first championship in the group. This is the first championship since the closure of Wrestle-1 for Seiki. Despite for a few months working as a freelancer, he didn’t work other places besides NOAH. He signed a one-year deal with the company during the mid-to-late part of 2020. The future looks to be bright for Seiki Yoshioka.
