Beginning on January 29th Game Changer Wrestling is hosting a 24-hour wrestling event in an effort to raise money for wrestlers who have had their livelihood threatened by COVID-19. There have been some more details announced about what we can expect from the GCW Fight Forever event.
GCW Fight Forever Blocks Announced
There will be a number of themed blocks taking place throughout the show. The very first block kicks off at 8 PM and runs until 10 PM and is known as The Wind Of God. The second block runs from 10 PM until midnight and is a For The Culture block. For The Culture was an event run during The Collective that exclusively feature black wrestlers and other wrestlers of color getting to showcase their talents. The third block runs from midnight until 1 AM and is UV:60 – The Death Hour. For just one hour we will see the world of ultraviolence come out as GCW allows the deathmatch performers to shine. The fourth block is Jimmy Lloyd’s Up All Night, presumably this will be similar to the Lloyd themed show from The Collective that showcased exclusively young talents. From 3AMto 4 AM No Peace Underground takes center stage as they will also present some ultraviolent wrestling.
The idea of splitting thins up into different blocks ensures that the event will remain fresh and pull in as many different audiences as possible. The For The Culture block promises to be different from the UV:60 hour of deathmatches, and No Peace Underground getting a chance to showcase their product is also a great addition. GCW Fight Forever is an epic project but the company seems to know what they’re doing as it’s shaping up to be an interesting 24 hours of wrestling.
Update: GCW announced even more blocks for the show 6-7 am Freelance Wrestling Block, 7-8 am Glory Pro Wrestling block, 10 am-12 pm EFFY’s Big Gay Block, 12 pm-2 pm Allie Kat’s Real Hot Girl Shit, and finally 4-5 pm 44OH Hour.
GCW Fight Forever has had another round of blocks announced for the show. 8-9 am Black Label Pro, 9-10 am is Camp Leapfrog‘s time to shine. From 5-6 pm VXS (Violence X Suffering) will take center stage, finally from 6-8 pm it will be The Wrld On GCS Part 3
