Preview: Gatoh Move ChocoPro #82 – Pencil Army vs. Tropical Bros (1/17/21)

ChocoPro 82

On this weekend episode of ChocoPro, viewers will be treated to a one-match show. Over the past few episodes, Pencil Army has grown its numbers, adding a new member in the form of death match specialist Minoru Fujita. Meanwhile, the current reigning Asia Dream Tag Team Champions of Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling will be joining forces with a tropical ally. How did this upcoming showdown come to be? Take a deep dive into the lone yet stacked match of ChocoPro episode eighty-one.

Pencil Army (Emi Sakura, Lulu Pencil and Minoru Fujita) vs. Tropical Bros (Yuna Mizumori, Mei Suruga and Baliyan Akki)

In recent weeks, the lovable Pencil Army underwent growth. Back on episode seventy-two, in December, Lulu Pencil battled Minoru Fujita under Gatoh Move death match circumstances. Though Lulu Pencil put forth a mighty effort, she was unable to overthrow the former BJW Death Match Heavyweight Champion in his element. Despite this, Fujita earned tremendous respect for Lulu Pencil. Thus, at the cusp of the New Year, he became an honorary Pencil Army member, black overalls and all.

For ChocoPro fans that have watched recent episodes, it’s fair to say that things have not been in the favor of Best Bros. The Asia Dream Tag Team Champions, Mei Suruga and Baliyan Akki, worked singles matches over the past few episodes. On episode seventy-nine, Akki fell short against Pro Wrestling HEAT UP promoter TAMURA. The episode after, Mei Suruga lost to Hagane Shinnou in a spirited encounter. With these losses, Best Bros were called weak by Emi Sakura who, alongside Kaori Yoneyama, originally lost the Asia Dream Tag Team Championship to Best Bros.

This rose the ire of Yuna Mizumori who, on episode eighty, teamed with Sakura to defeat Akki and Chie Koishikawa in tag team action. Gatoh Move’s “Pineapple Girl” saw herself, as well as Suruga and Akki, as the future of Gatoh Move. The battle lines were drawn. Thus, Sakura made the match official. On this upcoming episode of ChocoPro, Mizumori, Suruga, and Akki will join forces to battle the three-member Pencil Army. Will the self-proclaimed future of Gatoh Move stand tall or will the increased numbers of Pencil Army prove too much to overcome?
