Just months after losing his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship, Hiromu Takahashi has earned another shot after emerging victorious in the 27th Best Of The Super Jr. tournament. He defeated El Desperado in the final and after the match made it clear he would be interested in facing the Super J-Cup winner. For the first time ever G.O.D won World Tag League. The two have dominated the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship division for some time and are six-time champions but until now the tag league tournament have evaded them. With their win over long time rivals FinJuice the Bullet Club duo will face the Dangerous Tekkers (Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr.) for the titles as Wrestle Kingdom.
