This week, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling celebrates the spookiest time of year with the ChocoPro Halloween Special! Much like what creeps in the night, this episode’s happenings were originally largely unknown. In other words, fans had to go into this episode blind, wondering what exactly Emi Sakura and company had in store. However, if prior episodes are a collective indication, this will be a show worth tuning in for. Set aside late candy shopping trips and scary movies for now; ChocoPro has its own treat lined up for Halloween.
Sayaka Obihiro vs. Antonio Honda vs. Jaki Numazawa (Halloween Monoboke Match)
Last time on ChocoPro, Emi Sakura was able to defeat Chie Koishikawa. Thus, she entered the post-match janken tournament with confidence on her side. However, this confidence would come at a cost, as she lost to eventual winner Lulu Pencil. Out of what can best be described as pettiness, Sakura only announced one participant for the Halloween Special main event: Sayaka Obihiro. The other two she simply called “X and X.” In other words, no one outside of Sakura knew what was in store. However, a couple days later, the other challengers were revealed.

In any other situation, one would be wise to put their support being Sayaka Obihiro in this match. As one of the pillars of Gatoh Move, Obihiro has been a regularly consistent performer in ChocoPro this month. She is undefeated in October, having beaten the likes of Sayuri and Mei Suruga. However, will it be at the Halloween Special where her new winning streak comes to an end? Based on the newly announced opponents, she will have her work cut out for her.
One of the opponents announced for the ChocoPro Halloween Special was Antonio Honda. Known for his work in DDT, Honda’s comedic antics make him perfect for this special episode of ChocoPro. Most recently, he has been part of the Road to Ultimate Party 2020 tour, teaming with the likes of Universal Champion Chris Brookes, another ChocoPro regular in his own right. Based on prior appearances, smart money is on his ally, Gon the Fox, being nearby. Not only will the Halloween Special see the return of a regular, but the ChocoPro debut of a nearly twenty-year veteran.
Enter “Black Angel” Jaki Numazawa, the deathmatch star currently signed to Big Japan Pro Wrestling. Since 2001, Numazawa has seen considerable success in the organization, becoming a one-time BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion and four-time BJW Tag Team Champion. Not unlike Honda, Numazawa has appeared for Gatoh Move over the years. His last appearance took place in January of 2019. Ironically, he faced Obihiro and Honda in a Monoboke Match; “monoboke” roughly translates to “comedy with objects.” The Halloween Special marks Numazawa’s first ChocoPro appearance. Needless to say, a rematch with Obihiro and Honda is fitting. Expect this match to feature the zany antics this YouTube show has become known for.
