As the winter weather sets in, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling gears up for season four of ChocoPro! Season three ended on a high note, to say the least, as ChocoPro faithfuls Sayaka Obihiro and Mei Suruga bested All Elite Wrestling representatives Ryo Mizunami and Emi Sakura. However, with each new season comes a fresh slate. Who will be the competitors putting on the greatest matches? Who will be this season’s MVPs, whether in regard to wrestling, speaking, or the general zaniness Gatoh Move has become known for? Here is what fans can expect on episode fifty-five, the season four premiere, of ChocoPro.

Sayuri vs. Chon Shiryu
Since the summer, Gatoh Move rookie Sayuri has been out of action due to injury. However, she will make her big return in this season four premiere, taking on the legendary Chon Shiryu. This kung fu master has been a consistent ChocoPro player in recent weeks, even picking up wins over Chie Koishikawa and Lulu Pencil in Ichigaya Chocolate Square. On this upcoming episode, she will face a fellow martial artist in Sayuri, who has embraced ninpo as a fighting style. Can the lady in red upset Shiryu in her ChocoPro return? Will she become the latest in the line of victims against Shiryu?

Pencil Army (Emi Sakura and Lulu Pencil) vs. Tokiko Kirihara and Chris Brookes
To say that Lulu Pencil has had her issues with Chris Brookes would be an understatement. Not only did she lose to the DDT Universal Champion on episode forty-four last month, but she lost her trademark pink baseball cap in the process. Since then, Brookes has been gleefully wearing said cap, much to the chagrin of the Pencil Army leader. In this match, Lulu Pencil will team with Emi Sakura, her fellow Pencil Army combatant, against the team of Brookes and “Otoki-san,” Tokiko Kirihara. This match could be big for Lulu Pencil, as a win over Brookes may bring her that much closer to her beloved hat. Expect this match to be nothing short of off-the-wall.
Chie Koishikawa vs. Mei Suruga (ChocoPro Main Event)
The main event of the ChocoPro season four premiere will see Gatoh Move’s latest full-timer clash with the MVP of season 3. “Too Much Energy” Chie Koishikawa hits harder than caffeine and provides a rush greater than any dose of sugar. Despite her exuberant demeanor, she has proven herself as a capable demeanor, utilizing unorthodox evasive maneuvers and her trademark saber-like chops. Furthermore, on episode fifty-two, she picked up her first ChocoPro win when she teamed with Cherry to defeat Emi Sakura and Lulu Pencil, collectively known as Pencil Army. However, Koishikawa will have to bring her signature energy up even higher if she plans on picking up a singles victory here.
— Mei Suruga 駿河メイ🇯🇵 (@Mei_gtmv) October 12, 2020
As stated earlier, Mei Suruga was named the MVP of season three. It’s easy to see why, as she has been able to wrestle a number of incredible matches in Ichigaya Chocolate Square. Her bouts against the likes of Sayaka Obihiro, SAKI, and Ryo Mizunami have been well-received by fans. Win or lose, the “Apple Girl” of Gatoh Move’s effort couldn’t have been denied. Furthermore, on the season three finale, she was able to team with Obihiro to pick up an insurmountable victory over the team of Sakura and Mizunami. Not unlike Koishikawa, Suruga enters season four with momentum on her side.
It’s also worth noting that Koishikawa and Suruga last faced each other on episode forty-seven. Despite a valiant effort by the rookie in orange, it was the “Red Devil” herself, Suruga, that picked up the win. Now that Koishikawa has a slight bump of experience on her side, not to mention more time to focus on professional wrestling, smart money is on her posing a greater challenge. “Mei-chan” is likely aiming to become a two-time ChocoPro MVP and a victory over Koishikawa would be a solid start.
