Preview: Gatoh Move ChocoPro #50 (9/27/20) Team AEW vs. Team ChocoPro

Team AEW Team ChocoPro 50

For its landmark fiftieth episode, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling is pulling out all the stops for ChocoPro. Not only will this episode be a celebration of the show itself, showcasing the talent that have developed tremendous support, but it will also feature inter-promotional warfare. On this episode, All Elite Wrestling will have a presence. Two representatives will create Team AEW to go up against two Gatoh Move stalwarts in the form of Team ChocoPro. Here is what fans can anticipate on this important episode.

Team AEW (Emi Sakura and Riho) vs. Team ChocoPro (Mei Suruga and Yuna Mizumori)

Last time on ChocoPro, Mei Suruga faced Yuna Mizumori in their latest singles encounter. Up until this point, it seemed like Suruga came up short against Mizumori. However, on this episode, the “Apple Girl” dug deep and utilized a newfound intensity, complete with a devastating submission maneuver known as the Apple Mutilation. The “Pineapple Girl” of Gatoh Move had no choice but to submit. Post-match, Mizumori made it clear that she had every intention to face Suruga again. However, Emi Sakura had other plans.

Following the aforementioned match, Sakura expressed an interest in having Suruga and Mizumori team up for episode fifty. To up the ante, Sakura revealed that a special guest would be present: none other than the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion, Riho! Keep in mind that Sakura and Riho, at one point the Gatoh Move “Ace,” were among the first female talent showcased in AEW. They exposed mainstream wrestling to joshi puroresu in the process. Furthermore, Sakura and Riho had a few showdowns on AEW turf, further exemplifying their student-teacher relationship. It was only apt for Riho to take part in this upcoming episode of ChocoPro.

Sakura and Riho have pride in AEW, but this isn’t to say that Suruga and Mizumori lack pride in ChocoPro or Gatoh Move itself. The red and green fighters of the promotion are nothing short of stalwarts, proudly presenting everything about it. In fact, as Sakura and Riho continue to wave the flag of AEW, Suruga and Mizumori will uphold the banner of ChocoPro that much more. This upcoming episode will be nothing short of inter-promotional warfare, as Team AEW heads into battle against Team ChocoPro. Pick your side and sit back for what promises to be an unforgettable showdown.
