Earlier today, Game Changer Wrestling announced the latest match for its upcoming For The Culture event. In what’s certain to be a breathtaking contest, “Super” ACH will square off against “The Apex of Combat,” Lee Moriarty. This event by GCW will bring wrestlers of color together in one grand showcase. In addition to popular independent names and stars on the rise, legends in the industry will be present. Further details on how For The Culture can be viewed will be detailed below.
Long-time independent wrestling fans will undoubtedly be familiar with the work of ACH. He’s held gold across a litany of organizations, including Ring of Honor and EVOLVE Wrestling, the latter of which where won the Tag Team Championship alongside Ethan Page. Recently, he’s been a relatively consistent performer for NJPW Strong, where he’s taken on such names as Blake Christian and PJ Strong. Fans can tune into NJPW World every Friday night to get a peek at ACH’s trademark aerial offense.
ACH’s efforts in GCW can’t be ignored, either. His most recent appearance for the company took place earlier this month at Bring Em Out, where he faced fellow NJPW Strong competitor Christian in a fast-paced contest. He also won the DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship from Joey Janela at Keep in Touch the month prior. Simply put, ACH has fared well in GCW. However, at For The Culture, his aforementioned aerial offense may meet its match.

Enter Lee Moriarty, who’s in his fifth year in professional wrestling. “The Apex of Combat” isn’t shy about taking to the skies, utilizing fast-paced maneuvers against a variety of opponents. The Pittsburgh native was a mainstay in Pro Wrestling eXpress, where he won the Heavyweight Championship in 2016. Other promotions he appeared for include Ryse Wrestling, where he debuted in 2017.
Moriarty made his GCW debut in June, defeating Tre Lamar at The Wrld on GCW. From there, “The Apex of Combat” appeared for other events, from singles matches to tag team encounters to scrambles. He has proven that he can do it all and, if given the opportunity, will shine. Moriarty will have a major presence during The Collective, appearing for numerous events, but none may be as important as For The Culture.
GCW For The Culture will take place at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 9th, 2020. Tickets for the events are on sale now.
