Per FanSided’s Daily DDT, it has been confirmed that Vickie Guerrero is officially signed with All Elite Wrestling. As of July, she had been part of AEW as the manager of Nyla Rose. Before then, she made sporadic appearances for the company. These included a guest spot at commentary alongside Excalibur for AEW DARK late last year. The details of Guerrero’s deal with the company have not been disclosed.
“There’s been conversation back and forth,” Guerrero told Daily DDT in regard to her AEW deal. “I think with that, we just came to the conclusion that I would love to work at AEW, which I expressed fully. I just, I fell in love with the company and the respect they have for the superstars and the way they run their company was something that attracted me. That’s where I am now. I’m really happy to be there.”
Given Guerrero’s history in professional wrestling, it’s not hard to believe that she would play the role of villainous manager.
Wrestling fans will best remember Vickie Guerrero for her time in World Wrestling Entertainment. It was here where she was employed from the mid-aughts all the way to 2014. During this time, she played a number of roles, including General Manager of SmackDown, in-ring performer, and most commonly, manager. In terms of the latter role, she helped the likes of Dolph Ziggler and WWE Hall of Famer Edge see success.

What Guerrero may be best known for, as a manager, is her iconic catchphrase. In a shrill tone of voice, she will routinely exclaim, “Excuse Me” to crowds around the world. What started as a legitimate way to buy time due to forgetting her lines has resulted in a proclamation that has become a heat magnet. Whenever this catchphrase was spoken by Guerrero, it wouldn’t be uncommon for a chorus of jeers to follow.
