Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling to Debut on FITE TV

Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling

It’s been made official online – Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling will be making their debut on FITE TV. Their first Gatoh Move Experience event will air on the streaming service in question, for free, on April 7th at 9 PM EST. Dubbed “the smallest wrestling company in the world,” the purple-and-yellow promotion is famous for featuring no rings or ropes. Instead, it’s a company that has generated buzz through heart, determination, and a wealth of talent.

Gatoh Move will make its debut on FITE TV with its Ichigaya Chocolate Square event from December 30th, 2018. The card for the event is as follows:
  • Riho vs. An Chamu
  • Mei Suruga vs. SAKI
  • Sawasdee Kamen, Mitsuru Konno, and Sayaka Obihiro vs. Baliyan Akki, Masahiro Takanashi, and Emi Sakura

The show will also feature music and dancing, which is a standard attraction for Gatoh Move.

The company was originally founded by Emi Sakura, who wrestling fans may know from her appearances on All Elite Wrestling programming. Since then, numerous talent have not only appeared for the promotion but learned within it. Case and point, Riho was one of the earliest stars to come from Gatoh Move and went on to make worldwide history as the first AEW Women’s World Champion. Other notable wrestlers that have appeared include, but aren’t limited to, current AEW stars Hikaru Shida and Kenny Omega.

Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling is a small organization, to be sure, but it has grown considerably over the last several months. During the beginning of 2020, they released their own streaming service, which readers can learn about below. Furthermore, wrestlers have appeared for other organizations outside of AEW. For example, Mei Suruga competed in last year’s Pro-Wrestling: EVE SHE-1. Though she only earned two points in the tournament, Suruga had solid showings against Jetta, Rhia O’Reilly, and Jazz. Gatoh Move’s debut on FITE TV is yet another step that the company has taken to grow.
