Final Matches Announced for Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show

One of WrestleCon‘s signature and most talked about events is the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show. They had previously announced several talents including Amazing Red, Shingo Takagi, Bandido, and a few others. The match that had been previously announced was Bandido and Takagi. Since then, WrestleCon has announced three other matches and that will be it for the match announcements. WrestleCon likes to keep several surprises under their hat for this show in particular.

Nick Aldis, the current reigning and defending NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion will be part of the show. He will defend the infamous Ten Pounds of Gold against an opponent of his choosing at the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show. Aldis is busy that week, as are many performers in wrestling. He’s also set for the Ring of Honor SuperCard of Honor to defend his title as well.

In what could be the breakout performance of the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show, we have a lucha libre four-way match. This match will involve Arez, Aramis, Black Taurus, and Laredo Kid. Arez has been dipping his toe into the US market waters, working for the outlaw superstar making promotion, GCW. He’s also appeared for IMPACT Wrestling. In his native Mexico, he works for AAA, DTU, Promociones Martinez and many others. Aramis also has worked for AAA and Promociones Martinez, as well as PWG, AAW Pro and IWRG

Laredo Kid and Black Taurus both also have worked for AAA, which is, of course, one of the major promotions in Mexico. They’ve also both worked for MLW more frequently and Kid has been joining Aramis in AAW. Black Taurus has also been working for IMPACT on several occasions and took part in wXw‘s 2020 16 Carat Gold Tournament and will debut for Over The Top Wrestling over ScrapperMania weekend.

The final match announced for the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show will be a technical masterpiece. Low-Ki has been in wrestling for over twenty years and is renowned for his pure wrestling ability. His striking ability is also quite deadly. In Tampa, he will tangle with another technical wizard, a man revered for his submissions and is a near-perfect mat technician: Zack Sabre, Jr. It will be a rematch from their 2014 meeting for the UK promotion Triple X Wrestling in which Low-Ki was victorious. The ZSJ and Low-Ki of 2014, while very talented and good, are not the men that are here in 2020. They’ve only gotten better, more polished and more deadly.

In regards to the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show, Brian Zane of Wrestling With Wregret said that “the announced matches are worth the price of admission alone.” However, if THIS is what they’re announcing and they have more surprises in store, it always makes it can’t miss.
