Preview: Ladies Night Out 5 (2/23/2019)

Title Match Network will be holding its fifth Ladies Night Out event this Saturday. Ladies Night Out is a recurring all-women show that began last February. Due to its success, TMN decided to run three more editions in 2018 alone. Now entering the new year, they will be running Ladies Night Out 5, running out of Booker T’Reality of Wrestling (ROW)‘s World Gym Arena. In January, ROW collaborated with RISE Wrestling to create the excellent ROW on the RISE show, which showed many homegrown ROW talents against RISE stars. Seven exciting matchups are on the card for Ladies Night Out 5. It’s available to stream live on the Title Match Network, where you can watch all preceding Ladies Night Out events, as well as many others, with a 2 week free trial.

Brazil’s Christi Jaynes will be making her ROW debut in this match against Angel Blue. Christi is known for high-flying moves such as her huge moonsault. Angel Blue is the former champion of Anarchy Championship Wrestling out of Austin. She has been competing for over a decade, and will be making her return to ROW after competing against Ivory Robyn at Ladies Night Out 4.

The hard-striking, acrobatic Allie Recks will be returning to Reality of Wrestling after appearing against Hyan earlier this year. She will be taking on Leva Bates (formerly known as Blue Pants in NXT), a 12-year veteran who is known to occasionally cosplay as various characters during her matches.

Angelina Love vs. Kiera Hogan

Kiera Hogan, best known for her work in IMPACT Wrestling, has been part of every Ladies Night Out event. She’s had several great matches, including a steel cage match with Ivelisse and a falls count anywhere match with Su Yung. She will be taking on former IMPACT wrestling veteran, and current World Class Revolution Diamond Division Champion Angelina Love, who is making her ROW debut. This will be the first time ever that the two are matching up. It will be interesting to see whether the young, quick, new face of IMPACT, or the experienced, savvy one gets the upper hand.

Jazz vs. Ivelisse

The legendary Jazz will be making her second Reality of Wrestling appearance, after a surprising loss to Taya Valkyrie at Ladies Night Out 4. She is the current NWA women’s champion, and she has held the belt for over 2 years. Ivelisse, an ROW favorite despite usually playing the villain, will be making her fourth straight appearance. She is best known for her work in Lucha Underground, although her situation with the company has become unstable. This promises to be a show-stealer, as the two are renowned as some of the best in the world at both power moves and technical wrestling ability.

Taya Valkyrie vs. Thunder Rosa

Recently crowned IMPACT Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie will be making her second Ladies Night Out. Facing her will be Thunder Rosa, otherwise known as Kobra Moon on Lucha Underground. She last appeared at ROW in a stellar main event match against Ivelisse. The two have traveled the world working everywhere from Stardom to AAA to British Empire Wrestling.

Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Miranda

Scarlett Bordeaux will take her gimmick as the most mesmerizing woman in wrestling to ROW for the first time. She is a former Ring of Honor competitor and ring announcer who currently appears at AAA, AAW, and IMPACT. Miranda is an ROW homegrown talent, and was a frequent top contender for the title. Despite starting in Reality of Wrestling, she is often busy at other companies (even making a Mae Young Classic appearance against Rhea Ripley), and only recently returned to the promotion. This will be her first Ladies Night Out event.

Barbi Hayden vs. Ivory Robyn

Also known as Abilene Maverick on Women of WrestlingBarbi Hayden is returning to ROW for her fourth appearance. This time, she will be facing another ROW member, Ivory Robyn. Ivory has been wrestling with ROW for four years, and is a former ROW Diamonds Division Champion. She is also the current champion of Pro Wrestling 2.0.

ROW Diamonds Division Championship: Hyan (c) vs. Rok-C

The ROW Diamonds Division Champion Hyan recaptured gold last month by defeating bright up-and-comer AQA, and adding a post-match attack on top of it to make a statement. She will be looking to shatter the dreams of another bright up-and-comer, the 17 year-old rookie Rok-C out of New Texas Pro Wrestling. Rok-C won the crowd with a great outing at her first ROW show. ROW on the RISE saw her win one match, and then look strong in defeat in the next match that same night.

You can find tickets for Ladies Night Out 5 here. The show will also be streamed live at Title Match Wrestling’s network where you can watch all preceding Ladies Night Out events, as well as many others, with a 2 week free trial.
