Adam Brooks is all set to make his New Zealand debut! Next month, on October 27th, “The Loose Ledge” himself heads down to the South Island to wrestling for the first time for Southern Pro Wrestling New Zealand, at their last event of the year, Halloween Haunting. Southern Pro Wrestling announced the information via their Twitter, revealing a poster of the event, which had the face of the previously unannounced Australian wrestler Adam Brooks. Brooksy spent the first eight months of 2018 working mostly in Europe, but also worked in the USA as well, most notably for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. In September, he returned down under, and started taking bookings again in his native country, making his homecoming for Riot City Wrestling at RCW 200, and since has worked for Australia Wrestling Alliance, Melbourne City Wrestling, and Iron Fist Pro (not to mention, heading back to the States for a little something called the Battle of Los Angeles). This will mark the first time he’s wrestled in New Zealand. His opponent, is the very young but very talented JK Moody. Moody is one of the top stars of SPW NZ, and definitely the top heel on the roster. His nine month long feud with Kane Khan pushed both of them to the top of the card. It makes complete sense for Moody and Brooks to work here, as Moody is one of their top stars, but is currently out of the title picture, and a match with the incoming star of Brooks is just the thing to keep him hot.
After an incredible performance and win at #MCWHorizons, new @mcitywrestling Inter Commonwealth Champion the #LooseLedge @theadambrooksy will take on @jkmoodyspw at #HalloweenHaunting!

Southern Pro Wrestling New Zealand, based out of Invercargill, is the largest wrestling promotion on the South Island. This past summer they had their largest event ever, the Southern Rumble, at the ILT Stadium, drawing over 1,200 in attendance, the largest crowd for a wrestling show in the country in 27 years. With the company heading towards their last event of 2018, bringing in an international star is the perfect idea to keep people excited for what’s to come for New Zealand wrestling in 2019.
