Just after finishing mandatory minicamp, NFL teams, including the Lions, are preparing for training camp next month, but they will probably have to do it without Arnold. The former first-round pick is connected to a February robbery and kidnapping that occurred in Tampa, Florida, but the cornerback vehemently denies any involvement. From on-field drama and injuries that have altered his playing days, he hasn’t gained that much interest. However, why not give him a chance to earn his stripes at least on the practice squad? While he’s been connected to the Washington Commanders in the latest rumors, he could be an underrated grab for the Lions.
Marlon Humphrey, Trade
It’s probably the route the Lions will take as Detroit wants an all-around playmaker that can make an immediate impact. While Marlon Humphrey is on the older side, he’s entering the final year of his deal and has been in several trade rumors. With Baltimore building a new regime under head coach Jesse Minter, the Ravens may have finally found their trade partner to move on from the veteran.

The best for last is former Indianapolis Colts long-time starter and cornerback, Kenny Moore. After granting his release, the veteran shockingly hasn’t found a home. While he generated interest, nobody wanted him when he was available on the trade block. Maybe he gets a shot with a needy Lions roster that could use his experienced skillset.
