As we enter the summer portion of the draft cycle, this article will assess Baugh as an NFL prospect ahead of his true junior campaign.

Best Tools for Jadan Baugh
- Has all the physical and athletic tools to be a workhorse at the NFL level with his 230+ pound frame
- Consistently makes defenders look foolish in the open field with exceptional contact balance and short area burst
- Understands how to protect the football having only coughed up the football once over the span of 354 career snaps
- Navigates blockers at a high level by staying patient and following the guards moving downhill
- Slows down and slims down before exploding through the hole leading to chunk plays in some of the biggest moments
Jadan Baugh is a physically imposing back at 6’1, 235lbs with a truly unique running style. Reminds me of Bo Scarbrough at Alabama.

Tools to Improve for Jadan Baugh
- Will need refinement in pass protection in order to become a true three-down running back at the next level
- Can get too patient at times by holding out for the explosive play rather than taking the positive and safe yardage
- Long speed will be a concern at the next level as Baugh loses a good amount of juice when breaking away from defenders
- Hasn’t been exposed to an advanced route tree with the Gators and lacks nuance as a receiver
Early Player Summary
Jadan Baugh is a special running back. His elite size and elite tools make him one of the most exciting prospects in the 2027 NFL Draft. Baugh could stand to refine his skills as both a pass protector and receiver on third down. He has the frame to hold his own against blitzers but struggles to anchor in place. As a receiver, Baugh is capable of handling more advanced routes. He has strong hands and the short-area quickness to separate yet the Gators don’t ask him to run any advanced routes. If Baugh can showcase explosiveness as a pass catcher in 2026, he could solidify himself as a top-30 prospect.
