Antonio Williams was the 7th pick in the 3rd round (71st overall) in the 2026 NFL Draft, where the Washington Commanders selected him as the 9th wide receiver off the board. What is Antonio Williams’ dynasty outlook on a wide-open Commanders depth chart?
Dynasty Outlook for Rookie Commanders Wide Receiver Antonio Williams
College Production
Williams spent all four years of his collegiate career at Clemson and had an up-and-down career. He had a solid rookie season, catching 56 passes for 604 yards and four receiving touchdowns. He only got into five games his sophomore year because of injuries. His junior year was his best season, catching 75 passes for 904 yards and eleven touchdowns. He also had seven rush attempts for 101 yards and a rushing touchdown. A hamstring injury cost him a few games, but he was only able to catch 55 passes for 604 yards in ten games. Drops were a problem in his junior season with eight, but he reduced that to just one in his final year.
Washington Commanders Landing Spot
The Commanders were considering selecting a wide receiver with the 7th overall pick, but with Carnell Tate off the board, they decided to draft linebacker Sonny Styles. Washington only had one pick on Day 2, and they decided to draft Williams with the 7th pick in the 3rd round. The Commanders badly needed help for their wide receiver room, which is led by 31-year-old Terry McLaurin. Behind him are Van Jefferson, Treylon Burks, Jaylin Lane, and Luke McCaffrey. It is wide open for any of them to win the WR2 spot, including Williams. There is a potential out for McLaurin after the 2026 season, so the door is open for the future WR1 on the team.

Williams Dynasty Value
According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Williams is the WR139. He is ranked around Elijah Moore, Jalin Hyatt, Olamide Zaccheaus, Tai Felton, Greg Dortch, and Trey Palmer. Williams has a much higher upside than any of those other players, and due to the great landing spot, Williams will skyrocket up dynasty ranks throughout the summer.
Williams Dynasty Rookie Draft
Out of all the players drafted on Day 2 in the NFL Draft, Williams will be one of the first ones drafted. He is a late-round 1st to early-round 2nd round pick in dynasty rookie drafts. Expect him to be in the tier with Eli Stowers, Chris Bell, and Denzel Boston. Williams is one of the biggest risers of the rookie draft.

Williams Dynasty Outlook
The Commanders are a great landing spot for Williams, who joins a wide-open wide receiver room led by a 31-year-old receiver who could be off the team after this year. Rookie wide receivers usually start the year slowly, but expect Williams to play a significant role in the second half of the season for what should be a pretty good offense if quarterback Jayden Daniels can stay healthy. Long term, Williams is in a position to succeed with the WR1 spot up for grabs and tied to a good, young quarterback.
