Rachaad White spent the 2025 season playing in one of the most talented backfields in sports. Paired with fellow youngsters Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker, White managed to carve out a role as a rotational player in the offense. In total, he appeared in all 17 games, making eight starts while recording 572 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while adding another 218 receiving yards on 40 receptions. Despite his best efforts, the Buccaneers finished the season 8-9 and narrowly missed the playoffs.

White originally entered the league as a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Arizona State product spent his rookie season splitting snaps with Leonard Fournette. Appearing in all 17 games while making eight starts, White finished his inaugural campaign with 481 rushing yards and one touchdown while adding another 290 yards and two scores on 50 receptions.

With Fournette gone, Rachaad White became the team’s lead back in the second year of his rookie contract. Starting and appearing in all 17 games, White recorded 990 rushing yards and 549 receiving, both of which remain career highs. With his help, the Buccaneers made the playoffs with Baker Mayfield under center and even won a playoff game.

Tampa Bay added Bucky Irving in the following offseason, and his presence pushed White into a smaller role. While he still started 15 games, the running back finished the season with 613 rushing yards and 393 receiving yards.

Since signing his rookie contract, Rachaad White has appeared in 67 games while making 48 starts. While on the field, the Arizona State product has recorded 2,656 rushing yards, 1,450 receiving yards, and a combined 25 touchdowns.
