Dalton Kincaid Injury Update: Star TE’s Status Revealed For Bills-Jaguars

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has battled a knee injury in recent weeks, but it won’t prevent him from playing in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. The team recently removed the former first-round pick from the injury report, which means he will suit up against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.

Dalton Kincaid Injury Update: Bills TE (Knee) Will Play Against Jaguars

The Buffalo Bills lack premier talent in the receiving game, so having Dalton Kincaid on the field will go a long way in helping this team go on a deep playoff run. Appearing in 12 games, the Utah product finished his third season in the league with 39 receptions for 571 yards and a career-best five touchdowns. While these numbers don’t jump off the page, Buffalo’s offense is considerably more efficient when it has Kincaid on the field.

Buffalo will face off against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that has hit their stride in recent weeks. While they were inconsistent at the start of the season, Jacksonville’s offense has been one of the league’s most dangerous since they acquired wide receiver Jakobi Meyers at the trade deadline. Former first-overall pick Trevor Lawrence is playing up to his draft capital, and first-year head coach Liam Coen has this team ready to compete for a championship. This will not be an easy game for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, even with Dalton Kincaid on the field.

Dalton Kincaid originally entered the league as a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Selected by the Buffalo Bills, the Iowa product showed promise as a rookie by recording 73 receptions for 673 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games. His numbers took a drop in 2024, as he recorded just 44 receptions for 448 yards and two touchdowns in 13 contests.
