Davante Adams Injury Update: Rams WR Expected to Play Against Panthers

This is great news for the Los Angeles Rams, as Davante Adams and Puka Nacua form arguably the league’s top wide receiver duo. While Nacua is the clear top option, Adams has thrived as ca hain mover and red zone threat. The wide receiver appeared in 14 games during his first season with the Rams, recording 60 receptions for 789 yards and a league-best 14 touchdowns. He’s not the same unstoppable force he was in the late 2010s and early 2020s, but he’s still a dangerous threat.

Davante Adams will return from his injury just in time to help his team defeat an upstart Carolina Panthers team. While their 8-9 record may not be too impressive, it’s worth noting Carolina won this matchup earlier in the season. Former first-overall pick Bryce Young played one of the best games of his career, guiding the Panthers to an upset 31-28 victory. For what it’s worth, Adams played well in that contest, recording four receptions for 58 yards and two touchdowns on five targets.

Adams, a six-time Pro Bowler, is one of the best receivers of his generation and will likely end up in the Hall of Fame when all is said and done. Since entering the league as a second-round pick, the Fresno State product has recorded 1,017 receptions for 12,633 yards and 117 touchdowns, the most of any active player.
