Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young had one of the best games of his career against the Los Angeles Rams, piloting a come-from-behind victory while earning a historic spot in one stat. Completing 15 of his 20 passes for 206 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, the former first-overall pick guided the Panthers to an upset victory over MVP favorite Matthew Stafford and the Rams to keep the team within a half-game of the division lead.
The Panthers entered the fourth quarter with the lead but quickly fell behind after Kyren Williams scored with just under 10 minutes left in the game. Young and the Panthers responded with a touchdown drive, and later in the game Carolina sealed the contest with a first-down pass to Jalen Coker. By doing this, Bryce Young became the youngest quarterback in NFL history to author 11 game-winning drives, narrowly edging out Josh Allen and Peyton Manning in this impressive stat.

Bryce Young Outshines Josh Allen, Peyton Manning In Surprising Stat
It should go without saying that Bryce Young is not as good as Allen or Manning, but this stat shows the former first-overall pick still has plenty of promise. While the jury is still out on whether or not Young can become a legitimate franchise quarterback, nobody plays better when the lights shine the brightest. After all, Young has only won 13 games in his career, but 11 of those wins involved a game-winning drive.
So far on the season, Young has completed 63.4% of his passes for 2,337 yards, 18 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and an 87.9 passer rating while guiding the team to a 7-6 record. Sitting just a half-game out of first place in the division, Carolina has two weeks to prepare for the New Orleans Saints in Week 15 before closing out the season with two games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and a Week 17 contest with the Seattle Seahawks.
