Fantasy Football Buy/Sell/Hold Week 9

Each week, I’ll break down the players I think you should buy low, sell high, or hold onto as the fantasy season unfolds. Whether you’re chasing a playoff spot or trying to keep your roster steady, these moves can give you the edge you need to stay ahead of the competition.

Week 9 Fantasy Football Buy/Sell/Hold

Buy – Tre Tucker

The Raiders offense has definitely struggled in the month of October. As Geno Smith has thrown a whopping one touchdown pass. The bright spot? Tre Tucker. He currently ranks as WR 22 in fantasy. Rumors have been swirling recently that Jakobi Myers wants to be traded, and the team is listening to offers. If so, then Tucker would slide into the WR1 role and inherit an uptick in targets. If Tucker can get going in the second half of the season, I don’t see why he can’t finish as a top 18 WR this season, especially if Jakobi gets traded. The best part about all of this is Tucker is available in 54% of ESPN leagues, so if he’s on the waiver wire, do yourself a favor and take the free square like I did this week.

Buy – Quinshon Judkins

What a steal Judkins was if you were intelligent enough to pick him on waivers or draft him in a late round. I certainly didn’t, and I’m still kicking myself for it. Judkins is an absolute beast in the running game, and that’s exactly Cleveland Browns football. Averaging 16.8 carries per game, 69.4 YPG, and dominating goal-line carries. Last week, the Browns team simply did not show up, as Judkins had a stinker of a game, and we all know fantasy football managers only remember what they don’t do for me lately. With that being said, I’d be offering trades to Judkins owners trying to pry him away, as the Browns have a solid schedule in the 2nd half of the season, which will boost Judkins’ fantasy production.

About Doug Henderson

Doug Henderson grew up playing every sport imagineable. He quickly hit a ceiling his playing skills didn't let him break and had to turn to writing to get his sports fix.
