(36%) Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks – Darnold and the Seahawks have been excellent this year. Since week 1, Darnold has not thrown for less than 200 yards in a game, and he is sporting a 3:1 touchdown to interception ratio. Seattle is coming off their BYE week, so he could be sitting out there in free agency in your league.

(23%) JJ McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings – McCarthy has been out since sustaining an ankle injury in Week 2, but he is finally expected back this week. He had two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in week 1 against Chicago, and has likely been chomping at the bit to get right back at it. He has a pretty good schedule for the rest of the season.

(19%) Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins – It’s tough to know how Tua will do going forward. He had just had back-to-back awful games- each with 3 interceptions and only 1 total touchdown- before bouncing back in a big way this past week. He threw for 205 yards, 4 touchdowns, and thankfully no interceptions against Atlanta. Maybe better days are ahead? His schedule does look a lot better over the 2nd half of the season.

(46%) Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons – I’m calling a mulligan for Mooney. Although he hasn’t really had a good game yet this year, he seems to finally be healthy. This past week might have turned out very differently if he had had Michael Penix Jr. throwing to him instead of Kirk Cousins, which will likely be the case from week 9 onwards as long as Penix is healthy.

(16%) Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers – In his first week back since he tore his ACL, Watson was able to catch all 4 of his targets for an impressive 85 yards. He should be a decent option pending good health.

(8%) Chimere Dike, Tennessee Titans – This past week was another strong showing from Dike. He reeled in 7 of his 8 targets for 93 yards. He looks like he could be emerging as a decent option in deeper leagues.

About Doug Henderson
