Week 8 of the NFL Season is in the books. Here are the Week 9 wide receiver rankings for fantasy football. The notable wide receivers on bye this week are A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Emeka Egbuka, and Garrett Wilson. The receivers who are questionable with injuries are Puka Nacua, Drake London, and Nico Collins.
Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings Week 9
Tier 1: Superstar WR1s
| Rank | Player | Opponent |
| 1 | Puka Nacua* | New Orleans Saints |
| 2 | Amon-Ra St. Brown | Minnesota Vikings |
| 3 | Ja’Marr Chase | Chicago Bears |
| 4 | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | Washington Commanders |
| 5 | CeeDee Lamb | Arizona Cardinals |
| 6 | Rashee Rice | Buffalo Bills |
| 7 | Justin Jefferson | Detroit Lions |
| 8 | Chris Olave | Los Angeles Rams |
| 9 | Drake London* | New England Patriots |
| 10 | Nico Collins* | Denver Broncos |
The top receivers are back in action in Week 9 after a massive bye week in Week 8:
- Nacua missed the Week 7 game before the bye week with an injury, but he is expected to play in Week 9. He retakes the top spot of the wide receiver rankings.
- Chase has four straight top-five fantasy finishes and is back to being the number one overall wide receiver in fantasy football in total points, and is third in PPG behind Nacua and JSN.
- Collins should be able to clear concussion protocol, but he has a difficult matchup against the Broncos.

Tier 2: Proven Solid WR2s
| Rank | Player | Opponent |
| 11 | Davante Adams | New Orleans Saints |
| 12 | George Pickens | Arizona Cardinals |
| 13 | Marvin Harrison Jr. | Dallas Cowboys |
| 14 | Brian Thomas Jr. | Las Vegas Raiders |
| 15 | Ladd McConkey | Tennessee Titans |
| 16 | Rome Odunze | Cincinnati Bengals |
| 17 | Michael Pittman Jr. | Pittsburgh Steelers |
| 18 | Zay Flowers | Miami Dolphins |
| 19 | Tetairoa McMillan | Green Bay Packers |
| 20 | Jaylen Waddle | Baltimore Ravens |
The players in this tier are all must-starts this week and will provide plenty of fantasy value throughout the season:
- McConkey had another good week for the Chargers, scoring a touchdown in three of the last four games. He has two top ten fantasy finishes in the previous three weeks. McConkey has a great schedule upcoming with the Titans, Steelers, and Jaguars before the bye week. Expect McConkey to continue to play at a high level.
- Waddle has stepped up in the Tyreek Hill injury. He has three top twenty finishes in the four weeks as the Dolphins WR1. Miami had a big bounce back offensively last week, and they will look to continue that against the Ravens in Week 9.
GOOD LUCK CATCHING JAYLEN WADDLE 💨
