After the 2024 NFL draft, this class might feel like a letdown. While it doesn’t have a Malik Nabers or a Brian Thomas, the top wide receiver options in the 2025 NFL draft offer varying body types to help an NFL offense.
Top Ten Wide Receiver Prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft
1. Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
McMillan has a pterodactyl-sized wingspan and uses it to his advantage. There are concerns with his speed and burst, but he’s fast enough and can wiggle enough to be a stronger Drake London.

2. Luther Burden, Missouri
There are no speed or burst concerns here. Burden is a big play waiting to happen, and can dominate defenders after the catch. He was used in a gadget role for Missouri in 2024, but his 2023 tape should erase any worries about his ability as a true wide receiver.
3. Travis Hunter, Colorado
If Hunter was only a wide receiver, he’d be pushing for the number one spot. But among the top wide receiver prospects in this draft class, Hunter is the biggest mystery box. Will he even play wide receiver? How often will he? He’s the best football player on this list, but won’t change an offense unless a coach lets him.
4. Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
Crisp route runner. Dependable run blocker. Sure hands. There are not a lot of ways Emeka Egbuka fails, but his injuries in college could cause a bit of concern.
5. Matthew Golden, Texas
After turning heads at the Combine, Golden separated himself as a first-round talent. Golden came on strong in the College Football Playoff and did his best work against some of the best corners in the draft.

6. Elic Ayomanor, Stanford
Ayomanor has been doing his best to put Stanford back on the map. Unfortunately, quarterback play kept him from putting together super exciting counting stats. He’s big, fast enough, and nasty in the run game. He will likely be better for his NFL team than he will be for our fantasy football teams.
7. Tre Harris, Ole Miss
After a crazy season with over five yards per route run, Harris is a spreadsheet scout’s dream. It was a fun twist on the normal Ole Miss offense, and Harris’ blend of size and nuance will have GMs interested.
8. Jaylin Noel, Iowa State
With both of the Iowa State wide receivers cracking the top ten, it’s crazy their quarterback didn’t throw for 7,000 yards this year. Noel is a burner with a strong frame in a small package.
9. Jalen Royals, Utah State
Say what you will about the level of competition, but Royals can scoot. If anyone was questioning his speed, his Combine performance should put those concerns to bed. He’s a dangerous weapon after the catch and is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the draft for a Z role.
10. Jayden Higgins, Iowa State
Higgins will likely come off the board before his running mate, but that’s because there are fewer tall receivers that will be available on days two and three in the draft.
