It is fantasy football championship week. Most leagues will crown a winner after the games in Week 17. The week starts early with two games on Christmas Day (Wednesday), so check those lineups early. The only significant quarterback injury is Jalen Hurts, who has a concussion. Below are the quarterback rankings, tiers, and analysis to help you navigate your lineup decisions for Week 17 and win you a championship.
Quarterback Rankings for Week 17 Fantasy Football
Tier 1: Superstar Quarterbacks
1. Josh Allen
2. Lamar Jackson
3. Jalen Hurts*
4. Jayden Daniels
5. Joe Burrow
Daniels had his signature moment of his rookie season so far, coming from behind to beat the Eagles. He threw for 258 yards and five touchdowns despite his two interceptions. He added 81 yards on the ground. His 34.42 fantasy points are the highest total of the week for quarterbacks. This was the first time he threw for more than three touchdowns in a game, his second-highest rushing total, and the most fantasy points on the year. Daniels is a top-five option in the quarterback rankings against the Falcons in Week 17.
Burrow became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 250 yards and three touchdowns in seven consecutive games. Burrow continues to light up the scoreboard. Even in a tough matchup against the Broncos, Burrow is a top-five option for the Bengals massive game as they try to keep their playoff hopes alive.

*Hurts left the Week 16 game with a concussion and will try to clear protocol in time for the Week 17 matchup versus the Cowboys.
Tier 2: Mid to Low-End QB1s
6. Justin Herbert
7. Jordan Love
8. Bo Nix
9. Baker Mayfield
10. Jared Goff
11. Anthony Richardson
12. Sam Darnold
Goff had his third straight top-six weekly finish among quarterbacks. He threw for 336 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over the Bears last week. In these last three games, Goff has faced three of the top eight defenses against fantasy quarterbacks this year but has still produced. He gets another tough defense of the 49ers in Week 17 but is a top-ten option in the quarterback rankings based on his recent success.
Richardson only completed seven passes and attempted eleven. However, he still finished with over 20 fantasy points. He threw for a touchdown and rushed for another. He should have had another one, but it was ruled that he was just short of the end zone. Richardson has a great matchup against the struggling Giants in Week 17.
Darnold led the Vikings to a 4th quarter-game-winning drive to beat the Seahawks. He threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns and finished as a top-five quarterback on the week. Darnold has a tough matchup against the Packers this week but is a low-end QB1 option.
Tier 3: High to Mid-Tier QB2s
13. Kyler Murray
14. Patrick Mahomes
15. Brock Purdy
16. Drake Maye
On a bad ankle, Mahomes had just his third top-five weekly finish of the year. He had a passing and a rushing touchdown to finish with over 23 fantasy points. Mahomes has a tough matchup against the Steelers, who have given up the third-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks on the year. Mahomes is a high-end QB2 for the Christmas Day game.
Purdy has been up and down in the last four weeks, scoring at least 20 points in two of those but under four in the other two. However, the two poor games were in bad weather. The 49ers host the Lions on Monday Night Football. The Lions defense is struggling as they are dealing with many injuries. Purdy is a mid-tier QB2 for Week 17.
Tier 4: Streaming Options
17. Matthew Stafford
18. Bryce Young
19. Tua Tagovailoa
20. Russell Wilson
Young had a career-high 27.12 fantasy points in the victory. He threw for two touchdowns and added 68 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. He was the QB2 on the week, which was just his second top-ten finish of the year and fourth of his two-year career. Young gets a great matchup next week against a Buccaneers defense that is in the top five for most fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Young is a great streaming option this week.
After four straight top-ten finishes, Tagovailoa has struggled in the last two weeks. He has scored 3.84 and 12.5 fantasy points, respectively. However, the Dolphins have won those games and still have hopes for the playoffs. Tagovailoa plays an average Browns defense, but he should be left on benches in one quarterback league.
