Flea Flicker DFS

DraftKings Flea Flicker Giants at Steelers and Texans at Jets DFS Lineup

The DraftKings Flea Flicker DFS tournament is an interesting one. It’s spread across Monday and Thursday Night Football and features two extremely different matchups. Let’s take a look at an example lineup to find the optimal strategy.

DraftKings Flea Flicker Giants at Steelers and Texans at Jets DFS Lineup

Quarterback – Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Giants defense is ranked 22nd against opposing quarterbacks, and Russell Wilson was the QB1 overall in Week 7. His range of outcomes is on the higher end, and he’s cheaper than C.J. Stroud by almost $1,000.

Stacks – George Pickens and Calvin Austin III

In his first action back, Wilson targeted Pickens nine times for 111 yards and a touchdown. Calvin Austin, the team’s deep threat, was involved with four targets. They only connected on one, but to win a tournament like this we’ll need an unexpected player to hit. The stack with Wilson was a tiebreaker for Austin over some other bargain bin wide receivers.

Hero Running Back – Joe Mixon, Houston Texans

In healthy games this year, Mixon has been a top-six running back every week. The volume is there. The touchdowns are there. Mixon is the top-priced running back in the contest, but well worth the money.

Value Running Back – Braelon Allen, New York Jets

The last time the Jets were on a short week, Braelon Allen handled 11 carries and three targets at almost five yards per touch. If he receives a similar workload, he could score comparable amounts to Breece Hall at a fraction of the cost.

Wide Receiver Three – Tank Dell, Houston Texans

Nico Collins is on IR. Stefon Diggs is feared to have torn his ACL. It’s basically Tank Dell and no one else in the receiver room right now, which should hopefully drive some volume his way. He hasn’t been great this season, but this could be the week he turns it around for fantasy.

Tight End – Tyler Conklin, New York Jets

Out of the four tight ends in this contest, none are extremely exciting names. But Tyler Conklin is quietly having a productive season with four or more targets in five of his last six games. Pray for a touchdown, but he could be so much more for the Flea Flicker DFS contest this week.

FLEX – Malik Nabers, New York Giants

On the opposing side of the Steelers super stack, Nabers is the only predictable option in the Giants offense. He’s a bona fide superstar and even if the Giants struggle, Nabers will get his. He’s cheaper than two injured Texans receivers, and if the Steelers stack does well it will correlate to the Giants airing it out to Nabers more often.

D/ST for Flea Flicker DFS Tournament – Pittsburgh Steelers

In the last part of the super stack, we normally try to correlate defense with a running back. But in this scenario, the defense forces turnovers from Daniel Jones (not the most difficult task), and Wilson and the passing game capitalize on the short fields. They’re cheaper than the Texans D/ST, and also have the easiest matchup of the four defenses.
