Here are some players to buy and sell in fantasy football ahead of Week 8 of the NFL Season to upgrade your team.

As a new week begins, it’s the perfect time to capitalize on favorable situations and make a smart trade. Here is the Buy Sell Report for Week 8 of the Fantasy Football Season.

Fantasy Football Week 8 Buy/Sell

Buy DeVonta Smith

DeVonta Smith was a non-factor in Week 7, managing just one catch for (-2) yards as Jalen Hurts only attempted 14 passes in the Eagles‘ easy win. However, before this game, Smith had been a consistent producer, scoring at least 14.9 fantasy points in every healthy appearance. Better days are ahead, with a potential high-scoring matchup against the Bengals next week, followed by a favorable game against the Jaguars, who rank in the top five for fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. With his recent injury and poor performance, some fantasy managers may be frustrated and willing to trade him away.

Buy Dolphins’ Playmakers

The Dolphins‘ offense has struggled without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but there’s hope coming. Tagovailoa is set to practice next week and could return soon, which is great news for all Dolphins playmakers. Tyreek Hill, who scored 26 points in Week 1, has managed single-digit fantasy points in five of the last six weeks. Jaylen Waddle had 16 points in Week 1 but hasn’t hit double digits since. De’Von Achane, after scoring 23 and 29.5 points in the first two weeks, hasn’t surpassed 10.5 fantasy points in any game since.

Without Tagovailoa, the Dolphins’ offense has been disappointing, leaving fantasy managers frustrated. Even if Tua isn’t back by Week 8, the Dolphins have a favorable matchup against a weak Cardinals secondary. Now is the time to buy low on Dolphins players before Tagovailoa returns.

Buy Packers Wideouts

Jayden Reed had a quiet game in Week 7, managing just three fantasy points in the Packers‘ victory. Over the past two games, he’s combined for only 38 receiving yards on eight receptions. Meanwhile, Romeo Doubs has emerged as the Packers’ top pass catcher, with 19.9 and 17.4 fantasy points in the last two weeks. Christian Watson struggled in Week 7, recording just one catch for nine yards after posting 15.8 points the week prior. Dontayvion Wicks also made a strong return from injury, tallying 13.8 fantasy points.

The reason to buy the Packers wide receivers, especially Reed, is they have a great upcoming schedule. In the next two weeks, the Packers play the Jaguars and the Lions. Both teams are in the top four for most fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. Reed was playing great with Love earlier in the season, and they will re-establish their connection. Buy low on Reed and try to get the other Packers wide receivers with two great matchups upcoming.

Sell Javonte Williams

Javonte Williams had a monster game in Week 7, finishing with 26.1 fantasy points. He scored his only two touchdowns of the season in this game. The Broncos were in a run-heavy game script as they got ahead big against the Saints. The Broncos offense has been struggling to score touchdowns all season, lowering Williams’ ceiling. It is time to trade him away after what will likely be his highest-scoring performance of the season.
