Bills vs Texans Prediction

Score Prediction: Bills 27, Texans 24

This matchup is expected to be competitive, with both teams capable of putting points on the board. The Texans come in as slight favorites after a close win against Jacksonville. On the other hand, the Bills are coming off of a blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo was overwhelmed by Baltimore’s rushing attack and defensive line. Houston does not have that type of running game or defense. Expect some points on the board but look for Josh Allen to make plays late and secure a close win.

Bills vs Texans Best Bets

Bills +1 (-110)

Buffalo has demonstrated why they are a contender in the AFC, with Allen leading a potent offense. They struggled last week on the road against Baltimore and this is a great bounce back spot for Buffalo. The Texans have shown flashes of being a Super Bowl contender, but they really haven’t put it all together yet. Houston has not played a complete 60 minute football game yet this year, and Buffalo has on many occasions. The Bills dismantled a Jaguars team that took Houston down to the wire. Look for this to be a close game with the Bills making a couple more plays in the last few minutes.

Over 47 (-110)

This is the best pick in this game. Both of these teams have explosive offenses. The Bills have a balanced attack with Allen’s arm and legs, complemented by James Cook at running back. The Texans have also shown an ability to put points on the board, particularly through the air with Stroud connecting with his playmakers Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins. Given the pace and explosiveness of both offenses, this game is likely to see plenty of scoring, making the over a solid bet. Both defenses have been inconsistent on the year as well.

Bills vs Texans Prop Bet

Josh Allen Over 6.5 Rushing Attempts (-140)

Josh Allen has been prolific in the passing game, but he is most dangerous when he gets out of the pocket and uses his legs. Allen has only hit this line in one out of four games this season, but this is a bit misleading. He did not finish either the game against the Jaguars or the game against Baltimore. He had 6 and 5 rushing attempts in those games. If those games had stayed close, like this one is projected to, Allen would have added a few more rushes to his total. Not to mention quarterback sneaks count as rushing attempts. Expect at least 8 rushing attempts from Allen tomorrow.
