Trade Targets Early Season Redraft Fantasy Football 2024

Finding the best trade targets in fantasy football can take a good team to a great one. Here are six of the best options.
Fantasy Football Buy Lows

We’re just about a month into the fantasy football season, and some trade targets are already revealing themselves. Whether it’s a backup running back with a path to volume, a wide receiver performing well on the peripherals, or a tight end who just needs some love, there are plenty of options. Let’s find the best trade targets for the early fantasy football season.

Trade Targets Early Season Redraft Fantasy Football 2024

Jayden Reed, WR Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love is a gametime decision for Sunday’s matchup, and even if he plays the offense won’t be in their top form. One more week of questionable quarterback play, but then the sky is the limit. He’s ranked behind J.K. Dobbins, Drake London and some other players with bigger question marks moving forward. If you can get Reed for one of those players plus an upgrade somewhere else, he’s a great trade target.

Ja’Lynn Polk, WR New England Patriots

The Polk manager probably isn’t blown away right now. He has five catches for 31 yards through three weeks. That’s not a lot of fantasy points! But, he’s shown tons of promise in his average separation score, is in a wide open wide receiver room, and the Patriots won’t pass for only 120 yards each week. He’s free and you can likely get him as a throw in if he’s not on waivers.

Rachaad White, RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucky Irving hive is alive and well. After the Bucs coach said Bucky earned more touches, White’s value plummeted. But he’s still their go to option for third downs, their only goal line back, and will get high value touches in a fairly good offense. It’s not a buy low unless you feel gross about it, and White is the type of player to plod his way to fantasy relevance.

Justin Fields, QB Pittsburgh Steelers

It’s 2024 and Fields is playing responsible football and winning football games. The Steelers defense can’t keep holding teams to this few points, and if they find themselves in a situation where they need to score more Fields is going to scramble more. He only has one rushing touchdown so far, but brighter days are ahead. There’s a small window before they play a putrid Colts defense, but if they run away with this one the Cowboys Raiders and Jets will all make him scramble more.

Brandon Aiyuk, WR San Francisco 49ers

The team that drafted him has enjoyed less than eight points per game so far. Jauan Jennings isn’t going to explode every week, and the targets are there for Aiyuk. As teams get more frustrated with Aiyuk’s lack of production, the window is going to open more. Send a couple feeler offers while the iron is hot.

Mike Evans, WR Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Watching the Bucs, it feels like Chris Godwin is the number one receiver. Godwin has been the first read on more plays than Evans, but Evans is still the type of player that can score two touchdowns on any given Sunday. The volume won’t be there, but the back half of the Bucs season is more favorable for fantasy wide receivers.
