What a great week of football. This column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50 percent of Yahoo leagues or less each week. For reference, the threshold used for Wins and Losses in this article will be if the quarterbacks can score at least 17 points, if the tight ends can score at least eight PPR points, and if the rest can score at least 10 PPR points. Here are the Week 16 streamers.

Week 16 Streamers
Quarterback – Nick Mullens (MIN – 4%) v DET
If you watched Nick Mullens play this week, you may feel like you never want to again. He was a rollercoaster and made many questionable decisions. Some of those paid off and for fantasy purposes the rewards far outweigh the risks so we’re fine with him taking plenty of risks. Ultimately Mullens completed 26 of 33 passes for 303 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran the ball six times for ten yards on his way to 22.12 fantasy points. This week he gets a nice matchup as the Minnesota Vikings host the Detroit Lions in a game with plenty of playoff implications. This game is also being played in a dome which is a nice boost for passing offenses. The Lions are a great run defense but have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this year. The Vikings are also a much better passing offense than rushing offense. As it currently sits, this game has one of the highest projected combined totals at 46.5 points. Everything lines up for Mullens to be one of the best Week 16 streamers among quarterbacks.
Honorable Mentions – Joe Flacco (CLE – 24%) @ HOU, Gardner Minshew II (IND – 25%) @ ATL
Running Back – Ty Chandler (MIN – 50%) v DET
Fantasy managers have been clamoring for the Vikings to give Ty Chandler more work all season. They finally got their wish this past weekend and they were rewarded. Chandler carried the ball 23 times for 132 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three of his four targets for another 25 yards on his way to 27.70 fantasy points. Chandler is the RB4 on the week. As previously mentioned, the Lions are a tough run defense. They’ve allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Ultimately, it’s not often you get a running back available that sees 20+ opportunities and is this explosive. It just takes one touch for Chandler to make good here. Expectations should be tempered compared to last week but Chandler should still be one of the best Week 16 streamers at running back.

Honorable Mentions – Clyde Edwards-Helaire (KC – 40%) v LV, Zamir White (LV – 15%) @ KC
Wide Receiver – Josh Downs (IND – 50%) @ ATL
During the middle of the season, Josh Downs looked like he would be one of the breakout rookie wide receivers. He went on a great run in which he scored double-digit fantasy points in four straight weeks and five of six weeks. After that, he suffered an injury and hasn’t played well since as he’s scored single-digit fantasy points in six straight games. Downs is a talented wide receiver and this could be the week he gets back on track. Michael Pittman Jr. left the last game with a concussion after taking a brutal hit. It seems unlikely that he’ll be able to clear the concussion protocol in time for this game. This matchup is a solid one as the Indianapolis Colts take on the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are tough on paper but ultimately aren’t a matchup to fear. This game will also be played in a dome as well which is a nice boost to the passing offenses. Assuming Pittman Jr. misses this game, Downs should be the top option in the passing game for the Colts and that makes him one of the better Week 16 streamers among wide receivers.
Honorable Mentions – Demario Douglas (NE – 22%) @ DEN, Noah Brown (HOU – 40%) v CLE
Tight End – Hunter Henry (NE – 24%) @ DEN
Choosing one of the most inconsistent tight ends in the NFL on one of the worst offenses in the NFL, what could go wrong? Henry started the season on a hot streak before cooling off in a big way. He’s back to playing well and has scored at least 19.00 fantasy points in two straight weeks now. This past week was even more encouraging as he led the New England Patriots with nine targets. Henry caught seven of them for 66 yards and a touchdown. This week he gets a juicy matchup against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have been better lately as a defense overall but are still allowing the second-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Bailey Zappe seems to like targeting Henry as well. It’s getting pretty slim at tight end this time of the season but with the recent production, Zappe under center, and the great matchup, Henry looks like one of the better Week 16 streamers at tight end.
