Welcome to the most important stretch in fantasy football. Some league mates have already checked out, while the most competitive are tuning their rosters for a playoff push. The waiver wire in Week 10 has some solid FLEX options for the rest of the way, and a tight end and quarterback streaming option.
Waiver Wire Week 10 – Keaton Mitchell, Wan’Dale Robinson and More
Keaton Mitchell, RB Baltimore Ravens
Full transparency, Mitchell was almost listed as a waiver wire Week 10 trap instead of a pickup. Most of his yardage came after the game was well out of hand due to his long TD run in the third quarter. But after diving into the play-by-play log, Mitchell was involved well before the blowout. He had four touches in the second quarter and followed it up with multiple touches when the game was still competitive. He’s not a plug and play start this week, but his role is growing and the speed he brings to this offense is undeniable. If the Ravens get him more involved, he could be a sneaky championship piece. Keaton Mitchell is available in 99% of leagues on ESPN.
Wan’Dale Robinson, WR New York Giants
Tommy DeVito is a starting NFL quarterback. Not ideal for his pass catchers. But Darren Waller went to Injured Reserve, and there’s not a lot of guys catching passes around New York. Robinson’s short area quickness make him perfect for short passes and designed touches, two things the Giants will need to lean on with a backup QB in the rotation. In full PPR Robinson will provide a safe floor with a somewhat capped ceiling. He’s a WR3/FLEX play that is basically free on waivers. Wan’Dale Robinson is available in 94% of leagues on ESPN.
Joshua Dobbs, QB Minnesota Vikings
Had to double check to make sure the right team was listed. Dobbs has one of the best stories in the NFL and his rushing ability makes him a fantasy relevant option. In a game where he didn’t know the names of his teammates, he put up 25 fantasy points and won the game. This week Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa are all on bye, and Dobbs is a more than capable fill in. Josh Dobbs is available in 84% of leagues on ESPN.
Taysom Hill, TE/QB/RB/FLEX New Orleans Saints
Taysom Hill is an offensive weapon that can be plugged into the TE slot in fantasy football. Abuse the loophole until it goes away. His passing usage has gone up, his red zone rushing is essential to the team and he still takes random snaps at QB. Taysom Hill is available in 60% of leagues on ESPN.
Hayden Hurst, TE Carolina Panthers
No one is waking up in the morning excited to pick up Hayden Hurst. But he gets a game against the Bears Week 10, and if there’s a team to get an offense right it’s the Bears. They’ve allowed 8.6 fantasy points per game to the tight end position (tenth most) and the Panthers are just looking for a playmaker at this point. Hayden Hurst is available in 96% of leagues on ESPN.
Green Bay Packers D/ST
They play the Steelers and Kenny Pickett. Do with this information what you will. The Green Bay D/ST is available in 82% of leagues on ESPN.
