Best Player Props AFC Week 7

Rashee Rice, Over Receiving Yards

The line is currently set at 36.5 receiving yards. He’s been on every waiver wire list for fantasy football since the beginning of the season, and for good reason. Rice continues to build rapport with Patrick Mahomes and has been trending up in all major receiving categories throughout the season. Considering he averages over 40 yards a game in his part-time action, this line is set way too low. He hit over 70 yards last week and will be involved in a shootout with the Los Angeles Chargers this week. Rice’s active line is set at [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_receiving_yards/535993″ query=”nfl/rashee_rice/player_187790″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”].

Justin Herbert Over Longest Completion

Speaking of the shootout, Herbert’s line for longest completion is currently 34.5. He’s gone over this in four out of five games this year, and that wasn’t when he was trying to keep up with Kansas City. In a game with a huge over under, Herbert is going to have to air it out. Trust his cannon of an arm, and even if it’s not Quentin Johnston, his receivers are talented enough to put out a big play or two. All it takes is one big play, and Herbert can throw it anywhere grass grows (or turf). His active line is set at [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_passing_long/535993″ query=”nfl/justin_herbert/player_145441″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”].

Kyle Hamilton Over Tackles + Assists

Admittedly, Hamilton hasn’t hit his current line of 3.5 in two games. But in those games he was playing two of the most anemic offenses in America (Tennessee and Pittsburgh) so there weren’t a lot of plays on defense to make plays on. In the three games prior he hit over 3.5 every time, and the reason this is a good player prop for Week 7 is this week’s matchup: the Detroit Lions. He’s going to have to corral one of the best offenses in America, and will have plenty of chances to make tackles. Whether it’s stuffing the run in the box, blitzing the QB or making cleanup tackles Hamilton has been heavily involved this season, so expect more of the same Sunday.

Najee Harris Under Rushing Yards

This is painful to write. Najee was supposed to be the beneficiary of an improved offense in 2023. Instead, his rushing yards line is set at 49.5 and it’s still too high. In his five games this season, he’s gone over 50 twice. Great news, except it was against two of the worst rushing defenses in the league. Now he gets a brutal matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, and Aaron Donald and Jaylen Warren are going to be a problem for Najee’s rushing output. His schedule gets much kinder in November, but for now his line is set too high. His active line is set at [metabet_core_dynamic_odds market=”fbp/nfl_game_player_rushing_yards/535990″ query=”nfl/najee_harris/player_68662″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”].
