Way Too Early 2024 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

After a loaded draft class in 2023 with the likes of C.J. Stroud and Bijan Robinson, who tops the early 2024 dynasty rookie rankings?
2024 NFL Mock Draft

Sometimes it’s just not your year. Injuries, bad predictions, and absurd points against have ruined many dynasty managers’ years. A special shout out to the Steelers offense, Deandre Hopkins, and injuries for spiraling teams around the nation. Looking to the future, what is the real difference between the 1.01 and the 1.04? When’s the latest you can get a quarterback that matters? Look no further for some WAY too early dynasty rookie rankings for Superflex 2024.

Way Too Early 2024 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

First Round 2024 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

1.01 Caleb Williams, QB USC

The closest thing to Patrick Mahomes to come out in the last five seasons, Williams possesses both the elite playmaking skills and arm talent to immediately contribute to real-life football and dynasty squads around the world. The landing spot won’t matter much for him (even though there’s a petition to prevent him from being drafted by Arizona) and he’s as close to a can’t miss prospect as there is at quarterback.

1.02 Marvin Harrison Jr, WR OSU

Wouldn’t it be cool if a Hall of Fame wide receiver had a kid who is taller and faster than him? Oh, and that kid is also attending the school known for producing the best wide receivers in the country? If the name Marvin Harrison Jr. isn’t at the top of a receiver rankings for 2024, it can be thrown out. He might already be a top-five dynasty WR and we don’t even know what team he is going to play for.

1.03 Drake Maye, QB UNC

PFF currently has Maye as their second QB off the board, and in Superflex Maye is gold if he goes in the first round. While there is an argument of nature vs nurture in QB development, Maye has all the tools required to succeed. His ceiling is Justin Herbert, and that’s good enough to be a cornerstone piece.

1.04 Quinn Ewers, QB UT

Ewers could either get the Will Levis treatment or go top ten. His range of outcomes is all over the place, and if he goes top ten, obviously he’ll climb the 2024 dynasty rookie rankings. If he falls to the second round of the real draft, he’s still worth a look but draft capital matters. He has all the arm talent in the world and is a crazy young prospect, if a GM falls in love with the Texas prospect he’s a name to watch.

1.05 Brock Bowers, TE UGA

Remember when rookie tight ends couldn’t perform for fantasy? Well, Sam LaPorta is the TE2 through Week 6, and Brock Bowers would eat Sam LaPorta for breakfast. Maybe a Rob Gronkowski is too lofty given the disparity in size and blocking ability. But a Travis Kelce comparison? Also a little lofty, but closer. He’s a freak who will impact fantasy teams in the right system.

1.06 Rome Odunze, WR UW

If Rome played in the SEC, America would love him. But due to playing in the late windows, not enough people have seen Rome play. He will be a huge riser in the pre-draft process as he has impressive size and speed in his early scouting report.

1.07 Emeka Egbuka, WR OSU

WR2 in this class is going to be a dogfight. Egbuka is overshadowed by Marvin Harrison Jr. but has his own impressive skill set. He burst onto the scene as a sophomore and hasn’t looked back. He allegedly ran a 4.42 as a high schooler, so the combine might be a laughable occasion for him.

1.08 Michael Penix Jr, QB UW

First-round QBs are worth more than any other position because if they hit, they hit big. Penix Jr. will be a polarizing prospect in the 2024 Dynasty rookie rankings due to his age and injury history, but he is lighting up the PAC-12.

1.09 Braelon Allen, RB WIS

Some fantasy folks will have another RB here, but too bad. Braelon Allen is the closest thing to Jerome Bettis to play football in the last decade and a big man should not be able to cut like that. This is an early flag plant, Braelon Allen is legit. He’s a jitterbug mixed with a dump truck and if he goes in the second round of the NFL draft he’s a clear target.

1.10 Xavier Worthy, WR UT

Texas lost Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson and still has two possible fantasy-relevant players this season. Maybe Texas really is back. Worthy is a slim speedster who can separate with the best of them, but has dealt with some drop problems in 2023. In the right system, he could be a blast to watch.

1.11 Raheim Sanders, RB U of A

Arkansas nicknamed Sanders “Rocket” and for good reason. He’s the prototypical RB prospect these days – lightning fast, size to hold up, capable of catching passes (but not exceptional at it). The RB landscape will boil down to draft capital and landing spots, but Sanders has all the sauce to be a day two option.

1.12 Malik Nabers, WR LSU

Nabers is who we all wanted Boutte to be. Grumpy after the catch, a solid route runner with prototypical size. The WR4-8 range is going to be a fun one to dissect come draft season.

Second Round 2024 Dynasty Rookie Rankings

2.01 Keon Coleman, WR FSU

Admittedly, Coleman was off of most radars entering 2023. He’s crushing it and has the route running and big play ability to seriously contribute in 2024. This class could break records with first-round WRs selected.

2.02 TreVeyon Henderson, RB OSU

Injuries have derailed Henderson’s 2023 campaign, but if he returns to form, he could be a first-round dynasty draft option.

[metabet_core_side_odds_tile query=”fbc/ncaaf_winner” size=”350×300″ site_id=”lastwordonsports”]

2.03 Troy Franklin, WR ORE

Is Bo Nix making Franklin look good, or is it the other way around? Another West Coast player who deserves more attention.

2.04 Will Shipley, RB CU

Clemson just loves to make pass-catching running backs. Shipley doesn’t have nearly the same dynamic skillset as Etienne but could grow into a PPR machine.

2.05 Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE UT

This tight-end class doesn’t have the same depth as 2023, but Sanders is an exciting pass catcher in a position that needs a jolt in fantasy football.

2.06 Trey Benson, RB FSU

Vision, contact balance, the works. He hasn’t set the NCAA on fire yet, but he’s a possible day-two option in May.

2.07 J.J. McCarthy, QB U of M

Another QB that could sneak into the first round. Needs to be better at working through his progressions quickly.

2.08 Bo Nix, QB ORE

Take the Auburn picture out of your mind. Nix at Oregon is a more refined player and is another QB with first-round buzz.

2.09 Donovan Edwards, RB U of M

While his running mate Blake Corum has been more productive, Edwards could find himself the beneficiary of a combine bump.

2.10 Devin Neal, RB U of K

Kansas has a standout RB, but he’s not a burner. Maybe he can find a role like Isiah Pacheco with more wiggle and less stomping.

2.11 Audric Estime, RB ND

The first round is going to be filled with first-round QBs and WRs. The second round is where everyone will pick their favorite day two and three RB.

2.12 Blake Corum, RB U of M

If Corum had declared in 2023, he likely would have been a day-two pick. Instead, he is waiting until 2024, and hopefully, scouts won’t hold it against him.
