2023 Dynasty Superflex Mock Draft 2.0

In this updated mock draft some familiar names climbed the ranks and some fell behind. Find out where to value rookie picks this year.

The combine is behind us. After some record-breaking performances, draft rumors, and hundreds of mock drafts, where should dynasty players value their picks in 2023? To find risers, use Mock Draft 1.o as a reference.

2023 Dynasty Superflex Mock Draft 2.0

First Round

1.01 Bijan Robinson RB

In the “Way Too Early” rankings, he was the 1.01. In Mock Draft 1.0, he was the 1.01. For hearts and souls around the nation, Bijan is the 1.01. His production profile, measurables and everything else a dynasty manager should look for are can’t-miss type prospect numbers. No need to spend too much time thinking here.

1.02 Anthony Richardson QB

For more information on how he fits into the NFL Draft, his draft profile compares him to Ben Roethlisberger with rockets on his shoes. For how he fits into fantasy, rushing quarterbacks are running the league right now. No pun intended. In the top 12 fantasy quarterbacks for 2022, eight had over 250 rushing yards. Anthony Richardson has the ability to do that in two games. He topped my 2023 NFL Draft quarterback rankings before breaking records at the combine.

1.03 C.J. Stroud QB

Did the Carolina Panthers trade up to one overall for him? If they did, that would be a perfect landing spot. If not, Stroud profiles as a prolific pocket passer with the highest floor of any quarterback in the draft. He showed his wheels in the National Title game and offers more upside than people think.

1.04 Bryce Young QB

There is not a quarterback that is going to rely on a landing spot more than Bryce Young. With as undersized as he is, if he ends up behind the Houston Texans offensive line managers should worry for his safety. While he successfully bulked up to 204 for the combine, it was 100 percent a smoke screen. Starting quarterbacks are valuable, but size outliers are a risky bet.

1.05 Jahmyr Gibbs RB

It must be tough to be Gibbs. In most other drafts, Gibbs would be the RB1 by a mile. Coincidentally, he could find himself with first-round draft capital. He has the pass-catching chops that will give him a nice boost for fantasy. Another key point, he is lightning-fast.

1.06 Will Levis QB

First-round quarterbacks are valuable. Will Levis is probably going in the first round. As much as it pains passing purists and guys looking for a good production profile, teams love Levis so fantasy managers need to give him a shot.

1.07 Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR

40-yard dash be darned. Smith-Njigba showed off his short area quickness at the combine, and it was evident on film already. Some analysts say that this wide receiver class is on the weaker side, but JSN headlines a group of solid choices. When in doubt, draft the Ohio State wide receiver or the Alabama running back.

1.08 Zach Charbonnet RB

It feels like there is a tier break here. There will likely be other first-round wide receivers available, but Charbonnet has moved up draft boards since the end of the season. He ran like a rhino at UCLA and has the requisite size to be a three down back in the NFL.

1.09 Quentin Johnston WR

For someone whose calling card was size and speed, Johnston skipped the 40 and measured in at 6’2″ after being listed at 6’4″. He dominated targets at TCU and is the closest thing to an alpha wide receiver in this class.

1.10 Jordan Addison WR

Addison was the number one wide receiver in the nation in 2021 and was an awesome weapon at USC in 2022. Unfortunately, he weighed in at 173, measured under six feet tall, and was concerningly slow.

1.11 Michael Mayer TE

While other tight ends are putting up highlight reel catches, Mayer remains the number one tight end in the class. He was the lone weapon at Notre Dame and has the pass-catching chops and blocking skills to stay on the field for every down. Managers hurting at tight end can expect him to contribute immediately.

1.12 Jalin Hyatt WR

Somehow Hyatt ran a 4.4 40-yard dash and people are saying his draft stock has gone down? Doesn’t seem right, Hyatt profiles as a deep threat with exceptional separation skills. This feels like an enormous value at the end of the first.

Second Round

2.01 Sean Tucker RB

Tucker is fast and profiles as a three-down back.

2.02 Zay Flowers WR

Flowers has the best run-after-the-catch ability in this class.

2.03 Devon Achane RB

Despite his limited size, Achane is lightning-fast and set the SEC on fire.

2.04 Tank Bigsby RB

A symptom of how deep this running back class is. Bigsby is a steal.

2.05 Zach Evans RB

The once number-one running back prospect in the nation in the second round? Send it.

2.06 Hendon Hooker QB

Some analysts had a first-round grade on Hooker before the ACL injury. Might sneak into a starting role.

2.07 Dalton Kincaid TE

Kincaid is a pass-catching specialist at a position that everyone needs. Enough said.

2.08 Darnell Washington TE

If Godzilla put on pads, he would have trouble tackling Washington.

2.09 Josh Downs WR

Another speedy slot option, Downs can develop into a nice number two wide receiver on an offense and a wide receiver three in fantasy.

Josh Downs Draft Profile

2.10 Kendre Miller RB

A tank with the ball in his hands, and could be an above-average backup and an elite handcuff in fantasy.

2.11 Tyjae Spears RB

Spears jumped up draft boards after the Senior Bowl and should jump up fantasy draft boards accordingly.

2.12 Eric Gray RB

This dude runs like he’s angry at the ground. Worth a swing this late.
