After signing with the team in the 2021 offseason, Morgan Fox proved to be one of the few bright spots on the Los Angeles Chargers defensive line. Appearing in 17 games while making 12 starts, the defensive tackle finished the season with 6.5 sacks, 38 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, and 11 quarterback hits. All of these statistics matched or exceeded previous career highs.

Morgan Fox originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent. Signing with the Los Angeles Rams following the 2016 NFL Draft, the Colorado State product spent his first offseason trying to win a spot on the 53-man roster. Ultimately, he fell short of his goal, but he did sign with the practice squad. Throughout the year, Fox made multiple trips to the active roster and finished his rookie campaign by recording five tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and two quarterback hits in four games.

Following his relatively unremarkable inaugural season, Fox earned a role as a rotational pass rusher in Year 2. Appearing in all 16 games while making one start. Fox finished the 2017 season with 2.5 sacks, 19 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, three quarterback hits, and one safety.

The defensive lineman missed the 2018 season with a torn ACL, but came back strong in 2019. Back in his role as a situational pass rusher. Fox recorded two sacks, 18 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and three quarterback hits.

Following the season, the Rams re-signed Morgan Fox to a one-year contract. He rewarded that faith with the best season to date, recording six sacks, 27 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, and nine quarterback hits.

Fox then left the Rams and signed with the Carolina Panthers. During his lone season with the team, the Colorado State product recorded 1.5 sacks, 34 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, and 7 quarterback hits.
