The 2022 NFL season has provided some surprises thus far and more are probably forthcoming. Only three weeks have concluded, but there have been a number of upsets that have most likely cost a lot of people in their survivor/knockout leagues. The NFL has proven there is parity and the 2022 season is backing up that notion so far. For those who have not yet chosen incorrectly, here are some 2022 NFL Week 4 survivor league top picks.

Top Picks for 2022 NFL Week 4 2022 Survivor League
Dallas Cowboys Versus Washington Commanders (Sunday, 1 PM, FOX)
When the Dallas Cowboys started the season 0-1 and then Dak Prescott suffered a thumb injury that would cost him some time (though he was not put on injured reserve), many figured their season was essentially over. But the Cowboys, with Cooper Rush under center, won their next two games and are now 2-1. Dallas’ defense might not be as potent was it was last season, but the Cowboys have allowed an average of 17.3 points per game through their first three games.
The Washington Commanders beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 but then lost back-to-back games to the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles. Neither the Commanders nor their quarterback Carson Wentz has looked impressive this season. The Eagles sacked Wentz nine times and the Cowboys, led by Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence, have 13 sacks on the season.
Dallas might not have explosive numbers on offense on Sunday, but Rush, Tony Pollard, Ezekiel Elliot, and CeeDee Lamb will do enough on offense, as they did Monday night, and the Cowboys defense will stifle the Commanders and Wentz.
Green Bay Packers Versus New England Patriots (Sunday, 4:25 PM, CBS)
It is very difficult to feel confident in the New England Patriots this season. They do not do anything particularly well (they are ranked 25th on offense and 22nd on defense in scoring this season). The defense is not forcing enough turnovers and the offense is not protecting the football (there have been five interceptions by Mac Jones and multiple fumbles by receivers).
While the Green Bay Packers have not looked like Super Bowl favorites, thus far and Aaron Rodgers is definitely missing Davante Adams, Rodgers has shown he can make enough plays with the receivers he has. And the Packers defense has allowed only 15.0 points per game thus far this season, so the unit has proven it is for real.
The Patriots will most likely be without Mac Jones this week, even though this week Bill Belichick made it a point to repeatedly say Jones is “day-to-day” with his ankle injury. But even if New England had a 100% healthy Mac Jones, they would struggle to put up points against Green Bay’s defense. And the Patriots defense will not be able to make enough stops to help New England get a win. There is a new philosophy in Green Bay and the Packers will get a win with it this week. Belichick and company will fall to 1-3 on Sunday.
For anyone who has already used the Cowboys and Packers in their survivor/knockout league, the Cleveland Browns (although they are on the road) should defeat the Atlanta Falcons. But the Cowboys and Packers are the safest picks for this week.
