Snead posted 432 receiving yards and a trio of touchdowns with the Ravens in 2020. He earned a 71.6 PFF offensive grade in 2020, his best since 2016. His production was similar in 2019 as he had 339 yards and five touchdowns as the No.3 target for Lamar Jackson. He only posted a 61.0 offensive grade, however.
In 2018, Snead caught 62 balls for 651 yards and a touchdown for the playoff-bound Ravens.
Before 2018, Snead spent three seasons with the New Orleans Saints. Snead took his first catch 63 yards. He had 984 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 2015. In 2016, Snead racked up 895 yards and four touchdowns. He had the best game of his career against the Oakland Raiders to open the 2016 season. Snead caught all nine of his targets, racking up 172 yards and a touchdown. In November, he even threw a 50-yard touchdown. Across 2015 and 2016, Snead ranked 22nd in receiving yards, and he was sandwiched between Delanie Walker and Pierre Garcon.
His 2017 season was not quite the same as he only caught eight passes, but he did haul in three passes during the playoffs.
Snead went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, but he was signed by the Cleveland Browns. In August, he was waived by Cleveland before being picked up by the Carolina Panthers practice squad. Carolina cut Snead from the practice squad then he signed with the Saints. Among undrafted players, Snead is in the top 50 in terms of receiving yards production.
Snead attended Ball State. Across three seasons for the Cardinals, Snead accumulated 2,991 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns. He led the MAC in receptions in both 2012 and 2013. He also led the MAC in receiving yards in both seasons. His 15 receiving touchdowns in 2013 tied for third in the NCAA. Future NFL stars Brandin Cooks and Davante Adams were the only players to have more receiving yards or receiving touchdowns than Snead in 2013.
