Dallas Cowboys Welcome the Red Hot Green Bay Packers

The red hot Green Bay Packers are on fire and have rolled through their opponents with no hesitation lately. Will the Cowboys come to fight?

The Green Bay Packers are on fire and have rolled through their opponents with no hesitation lately. Aaron Rodgers has returned to his MVP form and is leading this team through the playoffs. The Packers have lost Jordy Nelson due to fractured ribs, but Rodgers has an arsenal of receivers to throw to. The Dallas Cowboys are set to face one of their strongest opponents yet.

Dallas Cowboys Welcome the Red Hot Green Bay Packers

The Packers started off the season very poorly, even leading to questions about Mike McCarthy’s job security. McCarthy never lost faith, however, and now his team is in the playoffs heading to Dallas. After blowing away the New York Giants by a score of 38-13, it is very clear that this Packers team is not the same that it was in the first weeks of the season. Seeing Rodgers return to his old ways and the young receiving corps shine cannot be good news for the Dallas defense. The game will definitely be a shootout.

Are the Cowboys Ready for Green Bay?

The Dallas Cowboys head into the Divisional Round not having played a game since January 1st. The big three of Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Dez Bryant have not played together since December 26th, as they rested the final game. That is plenty of time to be ready, rested, and practiced for the Packers. This could be too much time, though. That is a long time to have not played a game of football, especially considering Green Bay is rolling into Dallas after winning their last seven games in a row. Hopefully Dallas has not cooled off from theirecord-breakingng season.

Sunday’s Divisional Round

This Sunday, Green Bay will play against the Cowboys in Dallas. This game has the potential to be one for the ages. Sunday’s game likely will come down to the run, but both teams have a plethora of targets to throw to. Can Green Bay’s defense stop Ezekiel Elliott and break through the strongest offensive line in the league? On the other side, Packers utility man Ty Montgomery went down last week and is listed as questionable for Sunday. If he comes back, will he be healthy enough to have a strong game? Or, can his backup Christine Michael fill in? There are many questions that will be answered on Sunday. This is a game that could be a complete blow out or come down to the wire late in the fourth. Whatever you do, make sure you tune in to this game at 4:40 pm (ET) on Sunday on Fox.
