Saints Host Potential Top-10 Pick on Draft Visit

The New Orleans Saints have the eighth-overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and nobody knows what they’ll do with the selection. While there’s speculation that they’ll use the selection on an offensive weapon, only time will tell if that’s true and, if it is, which player it will be. Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson is one of the top prospects in the draft, and Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports the Saints hosted him on a pre-draft visit.

Saints Bring In Jordyn Tyson, Potential Top-10 Pick, For Pre-Draft Visit

It’s easy to see why the New Orleans Saints would be interested in using their first-round pick on Jordyn Tyson, as the team could use another offensive playmaker. While Chris Olave is an above-average starter, the rest of the depth chart leaves something to be desired. New Orleans traded impending free agent Rashid Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks at the trade deadline and has yet to find a proper replacement. While Devaughn Vele had his moments last year, he’s better suited for a depth role than a starting spot.

Jordyn Tyson is one of the most fascinating players in the 2026 NFL Draft. On the one hand, the Arizona State product offers elite physical traits and the ability to line up at all three receiver positions. He already boasts an impressive route tree, soft hands, and should immediately start for this organization. However, he has an extensive injury history and may not be able to handle the physical punishment of life in the NFL.

If injuries weren’t such a concern, Jordyn Tyson would probably be the unquestioned top receiver in this draft class. However, his inability to stay on the field cannot be ignored, which makes him one of the most high-risk, high-reward players in this draft. New Orleans Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis has never shied away from making a bold pick, so don’t be surprised if the Saints use their first-round selection on Jordyn Tyson.
