Baltimore Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum has been one of the game’s elite options at the position since entering the league, and the four-year veteran is about to earn a massive payday. Selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Iowa product immediately earned the starting job and never looked back. He’s made three Pro Bowls, finished top-10 in Rookie of the Year voting, and has never recorded a PFF grade lower than 74.6 since he joined the league. Now entering his age-26 season, teams across the league will fight for the right to give him a massive extension.
Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox believes Tyler Linderbaum will receive a four-year, $76 million contract in the coming months, and it’s anyone’s guess if the Ravens or another team will make that offer. While Knox notes the Ravens want to re-sign him and Linderbaum wants to remain in Baltimore, they might not be able to afford him. While the Ravens have a decent amount of cap space, they could lose him to one of the following organizations.

Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers had the worst offensive line in football last year, and you can guarantee that head coach Jim Harbaugh will do everything in his power to rectify that issue in 2026. While getting Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater back will fix the tackle position, the team must add some outside help for the interior offensive line. Veteran Bradley Bozemen had a disastrous 2025, and the team should invest in an upgrade. Tyler Linderbaum is a perfect fit for Harbaugh’s style of play, and the Chargers have the financial resources to outbid the Ravens for his services.
New England Patriots
While their season didn’t end on the highest note, it says a lot about the Patriots that they reached the Super Bowl in the second year of the Drake Maye Era. New England won’t have to pay the young superstar for a few years, so now is the time to go all-in on the supporting cast. Garrett Bradbury did an adequate job last year, but Tyler Linderbaum would be a massive upgrade. We saw what this offensive line looked like against an elite pass rush, and it’s safe to say it needs more talent to adequately protect Maye.
Las Vegas Raiders
The 2026 NFL Draft is still months away, but it’s hard to envision a world where the Las Vegas Raiders do not select Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza with the first-overall pick. Finding a franchise quarterback is the most important part of any rebuild, but the second-most important part is protecting him. Jordan Meredith and Alex Cappa both left something to be desired last year, and stealing Tyler Linderbaum from the Ravens would give this team a solid anchor at the center of the offensive line. While Linderbaum won’t singlehandedly guide this team to a championship, he could play a crucial role in developing Mendoza, and that alone justifies a massive contract.
