After spending most of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers star pass-rusher Micah Parsons is attempting to recruit pending free agent George Pickens. Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb revealed on the Up & Adams Show that Parsons was trying to lure the hottest free agent in the league to join him in Green Bay. During the 2026 Pro Bowl festivities, Parsons had his fun during the event, which caught Lamb by surprise when he saw the two star players having a conversation in front of him.
“I don’t know what’s going on with him,” Lamb joked. “He’s a little too active to be on the scooter.”
Parsons is recovering from a season-ending injury that ended his 2025 campaign before having the chance to play in the wild-card against the Chicago Bears. However, it didn’t stop them from enjoying life on the field and reuniting with a few former Cowboy teammates like quarterback Dak Prescott.

Should the Cowboys Be Worried?
It’s still early to decipher what might happen in the offseason for the Dallas Cowboys. The team wants Pickens to return, and it’s been rumored that they could franchise tag the former Steeler while they figure out a long-term deal for the receiver. Pickens admitted that the price “skyrocketed” and isn’t looking to stay on a bargain.
However, Dallas always had a history of not paying their best players. This led to Lamb himself sitting out one offseason to be paid a contract he deserved. Many should expect drama from Jerry Jones once again, similar to the Micah Parsons situation, which might be scary as the Cowboys can’t afford their playmaker join these three possible suitors.
Potential Next Teams
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers have the financial freedom to add an explosive wide receiver in free agency. After firing former offensive coordinator Greg Roman, the team should restructure the entire receiving unit for Justin Herbert. Los Angeles has one of the best running cultures, but they can’t go without any explosion in the deep attack. Ladd McConkey is still arguably their best pass-catcher, and guys like Quentin Johnston aren’t going to get them a Super Bowl.
If Pickens becomes available, the Chargers should make a run for him to make him their No. 1 receiver behind one of the greatest arms in the league, Herbert.
Washington Commanders
It would be a disaster for the Cowboys if Pickens joins Dan Quinn in Washington. The Commanders had a promising future after the season they had in 2024, but they dealt with too many injuries and inconsistencies the following season. It’s been a true sophomore slump for quarterback Jayden Daniels, but the Commanders must revitalize this organization again. Deebo Samuel could leave after spending just one season with the team, and if he does, the Commanders might look into adding Pickens to join Terry McLaurin as the new duo threat in the NFC East.
Baltimore Ravens
With the firing of John Harbaugh, there should be major changes coming to Baltimore. This means the job of many key players, including Rashod Bateman, could be at stake. However, Lamar Jackson needs another dynamic receiver to make a deep run in the playoffs again, like they once did a couple of seasons ago. Zay Flowers, Bateman and Pickens on one team sounds like a true championship offensive roster.
They already have one of the best running backs, Derrick Henry, and there shouldn’t be any excuse for the back-to-back MVP to hoist hardware if the Ravens sign the top NFL free agent.
