The offense is on fire for the Patriots, but the team has built itself one of the most underrated defenses this past offseason. With the Patriots looking to make a deep playoff run for the first time since the Tom Brady Era, the Patriots should sign a cornerback like Maulet for depth. New England has two solid starters in Carlton Davis and Christian Gonzalez, but they lack depth if they lose one of them. Maulet isn’t god, but he’s better than what they have in their reinforcements.
