Similar to the Panthers, Justin Herbert is finally thriving and throwing the football more now that they are forced to be without an adequate run game. Jim Harbaugh still wants to help him in that unit, but they must value the aerial attack as well. Veteran Keenan Allen is having himself a season this year, but he is getting old and may retire in the next two to three years. This means the Chargers should be looking for the next big-time receiver to accommodate Ladd McConkey.
Jennings could receive a prominent role in this offense if given the opportunity. He has the hands and vertical similar to Allen if he ends up retiring.
