1. Los Angeles Chargers
If anyone can bring out the best in a run-stuffer, it’s defensive coordinator Jesse Minter and this explosive line. The Los Angeles Chargers are in the thick of a playoff race, but they haven’t found their long-term solution down the middle since they lost Poona Ford last offseason. While Teair Tart got some help from Da’Shawn Hand on the edge, it’s not enough to compensate for the depth of the defensive tackle unit. It won’t be the first time that a former Raven joins the Chargers.
Before the trade deadline, Odafe Oweh joined Los Angeles in a trade in exchange for safety Alohi Gilman. Jones could be the latest former Raven to find success with Jim Harbaugh, who slowly wants to develop a physical trench unit.
