1. Dallas Cowboys
After trading for Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson to improve its defense, the Dallas Cowboys are not looking to tank. This means the team signing Edwards would make sense to fill the void since losing veteran Miles Sanders a couple of weeks ago. Rookie Jaydon Blue isn’t the answer just yet since he’s still adjusting to the league. With Javonte Williams slowing down after somewhat of a breakout for the first few weeks, the Cowboys could use another temporary running back.
Edwards isn’t going to get Dallas in the Super Bowl, but it does buy Williams and Blue some snaps to rest and get amped up for the next play that becomes available.
