The idea of Miller playing for his hometown team would make sense since the Dallas Cowboys are slowly building back their defense after the Micah Parsons trade. However, they acquired Logan Wilson and Quinnen Williams, so no matter what, they’re working towards an exceptional future in 2026. The Cowboys will make a huge run this season, but it won’t be a Super Bowl. Miller joining the linebacker group that already contains Wilson, Marist Liufau, Kenneth Murray Jr. and Shemar James could be a good thing.
The Cowboys still have one of the hottest offenses in the league, and the defense is close to becoming exceptional as well, but they’re still missing a few pieces, and Miller could fill the temporary void.
