Of course, Boyd would be open to the idea of joining the Chiefs if the opportunity were presented to him. The Chiefs finally showed signs of life after their 0-2 start to the 2025 campaign, but they should load up before the playoffs, barring any circumstance that they don’t make it. It’s hard to imagine that the Chiefs don’t at least contend for a wild-card at 5-4 after just making it to the Super Bowl consistently. Boyd won’t take playing time away from Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton, but he could be another body to help JuJu Smith-Schuster in some moments.
