QUARTERBACK ADDS

(29%) J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings – McCarthy had 1 rushing touchdown and threw for 2 passing touchdowns and an interception against Detroit. He is the real deal and has a great schedule for the rest of the season. He is an excellent add if you need a better starting QB or even if you could use a better backup.

(19%) Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons – Penix threw for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns against New England. He certainly looks like he’s back to good health, and his connection with Drake London was on full display in this one. He’s a decent start going forward.

(27%) Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts – Pierce is such a sneaky good play right now. He just had a whopping 13 targets this past game, catching 6 of those for over 100 yards, so he obviously could have had an even bigger day. My guess is that, of the wide receivers who are still unowned in most leagues, he’ll be among the most valuable for the rest of the season.

(18%) Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars – With Travis Hunter out indefinitely and Brian Thomas Jr. likely playing injured and not looking like himself, Washington is being looked at more frequently. He’s had at least 9 targets in his past 2 games and caught 8 of 9 for 90 yards against Las Vegas this last time out. He has a bit of a tough schedule coming up, but he is still worth a look if you’re looking for wide receivers with upside.

(5%) Tory Horton, Seattle Seahawks – Horton caught all 4 of his targets for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns. He looked great in this one, and it certainly seems like he could be more involved in this exciting offense for the 2nd half of the season.
