The Washington Commanders would want to avoid a situation in strengthening the Eagles, but they might not have a choice here. At the bottom of the NFC with the Giants, the Commanders might have to do Ertz a favor and let him return to the place where he started his career. After bringing Brandon Graham out of retirement and trading for two starting cornerbacks, no one should put it past the Eagles to get Ertz.
